The nitty gritty on pricing

Air conditioner indoor units are connected to the outdoor units via copper piping and cabling. The most simple economic way to install a heat pump, is to run trunking (a box section of plastic with a lid) down the outside of the property, directly behind the indoor unit, containing the pipes and cables connecting to the outdoor unit. This method is called "back to back" and requires placement of the installation on an external wall. Back to back installs costs vary depending on, pipe size, wall material, how much garden needs to be cleared, if there is already concrete for the outdoor unit etc. Electrical is seperate as this is determined by, distance to power source, time taken to get cables where they need to go,if your switchboard requires a new circuit breaker, if conduit or capping is required etc, if you would like the indoor and outdoor unit to be far apart, A rough estimate of cost would be, allowing $90 for every additional metre between them, this is just a ball park figure estimating labour, and materials, as every install is different.
